ToughStuff provides very affordable solar-powered products for low income people, replacing expensive and environmentally damaging alternatives. Our work:
- Alleviates poverty
- Eliminates the environmental damage caused by burning kerosene and discarding batteries
- Enhances health, education and living standards
- Creates micro enterprise employment
Our operations fall into two main spheres – development and emergency relief. Our products are sold in developing countries, making a real difference to the long-term quality of life of our customers. In emergencies, our products provide much needed relief to those affected, helping rebuild their lives from devastation and return a sense of normality.
